At St. Matthew’s Lutheran adults of all ages are a very important part of who we are. We believe that people of all ages can be of important service to God and to our community. Opportunities for adults to be of service to the church and involved with the community abound. Some choose to be involved on a regular basis such as hospitality hostess, Financial Recorder, or Tuesday Fix-it Crew (a group of people who get together to do maintenance projects in the church). Other
people choose to be part of our community by:
Our
seniors’ program is called First
Wednesday. They meet the
first Wednesday of every month, September through May, for food,
fellowship, and fun. The day begins with greeting friends,
signing in, and blood pressure check at 10 AM. The entertainment
begins at 10:30 AM and is a different program each month. Dinner
is served about Noon and people are free to stay later to play
cards, or whatever.
