Music opportunities
for all who wish to worship through melody and song.

Adult Choir
Adult
choir:
Rehearses every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm. Sectionals & solo rehearsals from 7:30-8:00 pm. CHILDCARE IS PROVIDED! Warm-up rehearsals every Sunday from 8:45-9:00 am. We sing every Sunday, and have a special "Music Sunday" in the spring. For those special Sundays we have performed works by Mozart, Haydn, Rutter and Schubert accompanied by a string quartet from the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. Some members of our Adult Choir regularly sing solos, and sing in special ensemble groups (such as the Men's Ensemble).
Handbell
Choir:
Rehearses every Wednesday from 5:20-6:30 pm, and plays in worship once a month. On the Sundays that we play, there is a rehearsal from 9:00-9:15 am. On occasion we provide descant accompaniment to hymns & liturgy.
Youth
Instrumental Ensemble:
This group is for beginning to advanced instrumentals. They perform in the worship service twice a year, providing prelude music. Rehearsals are to be determined.
Special
guest instrumentalists and soloists:
We are fortunate to draw from a wide variety of talented musicians in the community. Tim Perry, principal cellist for two metro symphonies, plays during our worship once a quarter. Jason Eldridge, trumpet, plays 1-2 times a month. Barbara Lunn, a talented soprano, enhances our worship on a regular basis. Dave Balazs, professional timpanist in the metro area, plays for our festival Sunday services.
